Joanna Gonzalez

Joanna Gonzalez has been a creative and enthusiastic art educator since 1999. She enjoys working with students in an environment that values creativity and diversity. She has strategically planned, integrated, taught, and assessed up to nineteen visual arts programs for grade K5-6. She differentiates instruction for students with a variety of learning needs. She successfully collaborates with classroom teachers to develop and carry out a quality art experience for students. Joanna focuses on using artists and art history to teach the elements and principles of design to her students. Special interests include innovative teaching approaches, inclusion, curriculum development, and increased parental involvement. She is proud to be a Wisconsin educator and values fine art as an integral part of 21st century learning for children.
